You must be approved to audition by making this consultation call first.
Auditions are by Video call only (to allow body language feedback)
What's the Easiest Way to Audition?
Set up an appointment and show up to the zoom link we will email you! You don’t need to choose scripts beforehand, your audition coach can do that for you. All the buttons above open scripts online, so you don’t need to print any out beforehand, and your coach can put them onscreen in zoom if that helps.
What's Involved in the Audition Process?
- Practice reading out loud each day before your audition if you don’t have recent experience reading out loud.
- Most actors will drink water at least 20 minutes before performing or auditioning.
- Join a zoom test meeting in advance of your meeting time (click here) to make sure everthing is working as expected.Β Then leave the test meeting, and click the link in the email you were sent to join the audition meeting.
- Ideally be visible during the meeting so we can see and coach your body language. our goal is to see if you can relax, have fun and avoid overthinking and perfectionism, which ruin naturalism in acting (“perfect is the enemy of good”).
- Have fun!
How Hard is To Pass?
Most people can pass after one or two auditions. Perfection is not required! Your coach will help you pass in real time, by diagnosing the cause of any issues you have and giving tips
If we can diagnose accurately, we can usually show you how to improve.Β
However, you are unlikely to pass if your coach gives you homework to work on before auditioning a second time and you don’t do the homework.
The most common reasons talent need a second audition include:
- Issues reading out loud
- Difficulty taking direction
- Speech articulation or accent issues
Your coach will give you homework if you have issues in any of these areas.
Are there practice scripts?
